Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and grease two 4-inch round pans.
- Cream butter and sugars in a bowl.
- Add egg yolk and vanilla, stir to combine.
- Mix in flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Fold in chocolate chips or other add-ins.
- Press dough into pans and smooth tops.
- Bake for 12–14 minutes, until edges are golden.
- Cool in pans for 10 minutes, then serve or decorate.

- Use sprinkles, frosting, or peanut butter center for fun variations.
- Store at room temp for 3 days, or freeze for 2 months.
